In a meeting held in the Turkish Capital of Istanbul this week, ECG's
Executive Director Mark Morgan met with the Turkish Vehicle
Logistics Association's General Manager Reha Uran. ARLOD currently represent the top 11 vehicle logistics suppliers in Turkey who are experiencing significant development as the region continues to benefit from growth of high quality services and a low cost model.
"Istanbul has an exciting atmosphere and some of the initiatives that ARLOD are currently working on such as the industry standard driver training programme show the required leadership on issues that affect everyone such as the driver shortages" said Mark. "I have enjoyed my short but very informative visit to Istanbul and am looking forward to welcoming industry representatives to the Annual Conference being held on 4th/5th October this year here in Istanbul".
